BMW Injectors Coding Using Autel Maxisys MS908s Pro Step By Step

The Autel makes the calibration process of your new fuel injectors a little easier with no special software necessary. Follow along and we'll show you what to do with the MS908s Pro to perform the calibration process.

Step 1: After replacing the Injectors,Plug the Autel MS908S Prointo the OBD2 Port

Step 2: Step 3: Select "Service"

Next select "service" on the main menu of the Autel scan functions.

Step 3.Select "Injector" 

These are the injector codes to be used. Can be found on the injector its self.

Having been identify BMW VIN, let’s go to 
Hot functions >> Injector >> Injection quantity compensation

It will show the currently injectors stored previous: 4 cylinder codes.

Step 4. Input new value

So I’ll pop the new codes in.
Continue >> F2: enter new calibration values

Select cylinder number, OK >> Input new value, OK >> Yes
The first one cylinder has done.

Step 5.Calibration values

Repeat same operations to finish 4 cylinders.
Press “No >> F1: save calibration values >> Yes” when all were done.
It is saving...if it is wrong, it will kick us back out of it, and we’ll have to start again.

Turn terminal 15 and terminal R off.
Once all statuses have been established on the vehicle, press “Continue”.

So they have been saved successfully.

Step 6.Go back to check the injectors codes again

they are all same as typing in the right order.
Everything is good, the BMW has accepted that.
Done!

Autel MP808 Diagnostic Scanner Manual: Register, Update

 

A guide to register & update Autel MaxiPRO MP808 diagnostic scanner. The procedure is almost the same for Autel MaxiCOM MK808, Autel MaxiDAS DS808K and Autel MaxiCheck MX808.

Note: Make sure the Autel MP808 device is connected with strong WiFi.

How to register?

1. Go to login page, press “Create an Autel ID”;

 

2. Enter email, press “Send >> OK”, a verification email will be sent to activate;

3. Enter password & verification code to sign up.

Your new account is successfully created. Please register your device with the product serial number.
Press “Register”.
It will display serial no. and device no. automatically, press “Register”.



Serial no. registration succeeded, your device is successfully registered.

You can log in Autel official web https://www.autel.com/ to check your device and account after registration.

How to update?

1. Install system app.

Go to “Update” to download and install “OS”, “System Program” & “AutoVIN” app separately.
Autel MP808 Android system will upgrade the app automatically...
When update is completed. Press “OK” and launch the MaxiPRO application again.

2. Install vegfghicle maker app.

We can select “Update All” on top left corner or just select some in need to update. You’ve gonna have to leave it for about hours...

Once done, there’s no more updates available.

How to Upload Data Logging reports in Autel MaxiAP AP200

Customer question: Where does AP200 upload data? Look at my pictures below, I can't find the data logging function anywhere.

The Data Logging section allows you to launch the Support platform directly to view all records of all sent or unsent (saved) data logging on the diagnostic system.
Today,Auteldiag will tell you how to record and upload theAutel AP200 Data Logging, We use a 2016 wrangler as an example,here you are:

To submit Data Logging reports in Autel Autel MaxiAP AP200:
1. Tap the Data Logging button. The button displays blue during the active recording process.








2. Tap the Data Logging button again to finish the recording. A submission form will display to let you fill in the report information.


3. Tap the Send button to submit the report form via the internet, a confirmation message displays when sending is successful

How to use Autel MK808TS to FIX Jaguar XJR ABS Error code

 Case: 2002 Jaguar XJR is broken, can not star, but the apps and the traction control light came on on the dashboard. Used the  Autel MaxiCOM MK808TS to find out what’s the problem.
Plug the wireless connector into OBD2 port, and turn ignition on, let’s start:
Diagnostics >> Jaguar >> Automatic selection >> Read, OK >> Yes >> Diagnosis



Autel MK808TS starts scanning full systems...
Look at the tablet screen, the ECM module pass, TCM module pass, ABS is failing, there is a fault code.

Wait processing until 100%...

Alright, there is only one fault code in ABS module. Press the arrow to check:
It is C1095: Pump motor circuit failure.
Let me show you, that’s the ABS and traction control module, it is broken. I have to replace the pump motor circuit, or just remove this whole entire module.




I’ll erase the fault codes after everything was done, hopefully all going well.
Thanks to Autel MK808TS Scan Tool, I was able to find out the problem.

It’s really good when you have the Autel MK808TS, especially it is a wireless device. This is an 18 years old car, MK808TS can still diagnose it smoothly. If you have expensive cars or have to work on them likes Jaguar, Porsche, Bentley, Mercedes Benz or BMW, MK808TS will be a helpful tool.

How do I Backup & Restore my Autel scanner Data?

If you haven’t backed up your Autel device right now, alarm bells should be going off. Today I’m going to show how to backup Autel Scan Tools, this is going to cover any Autel devices.

It’s not limited to MaxiPro series, whether it’s a MaxiCom or a MaxiSys scanner, the steps are essentially the same. Following I’ll use a Autel MaxiPro MP808TS as demonstration.

Backup & restore is something I would strongly recommend. You’ll need it in case of data loss or if your device gets corrupt and you need to do a factory reset.

For Autel MaxiCOM MK808/ Autel MaxiCheck MX808, their storage capacity is 32G, so you would need a 32G micro SD card. If you use the higher end tools like Autel MaxiCOM MK908P, you’ll need a higher capacity memory card. Some of them go as high as up to 128G or 256G. Just noted to select a appropriate card for your Autel device.

Steps
Note: Make sure you’ve downloaded all the updates that you need before processing.


How to backup?

1. Ensure your Autel tablet is charged, plug cable in to get started;
2. Put SD card into slot;
3. ES File Explorer >> Select “Scan” folder >> Copy

external_sd >> Paste >> Select “Apply to all”, overwrite

It starts overwriting... wait copying until 100%
(Copy duration ended under an hour, fast read/write time of SD card would have somthing to do with it)

Done!






How to restore?
Hide the box, go to internal_ad, you can copy the new files replace the “Scan”. This way all the updates you’ve done would be restored as against having the apps that come with the device.


For extra insurance you may copy the SD card and dump it in your external hard drive. So you’ll have 2 records of it, in case one gets corrupt. When you’re done, remove the SD card and put it in a safe place.

Why we need Autel PowerScan PS100 Circuit Tester？

Autel PowerScan PS100 Circuit Tester is a fast and accurate solution for electrical system diagnostics, features with AVO meter, built-in flashlight, test light, short circuit indicator, relay/component tester, continuity tester and bad ground indicator.



1. Vehicle Battery Power Supply

Simply hook-up Autel PS100 to the vehicle battery for power on, let’s start to diagnose.





2. Determine If a Circuit Is Positive, Negative Or Open Directly.

Autel PS100 can determine a circuit without reconnecting clips from one battery pole to another.

- Red light is on with a long beep when the DC voltage is positive electrode.

3. AC Voltage Testing

4. Continuity Testing - Resistance Measurement

While PS100 is in resistance mode, contact the probe tip to a circuit, then the LCD display will read the resistance between the tip and auxiliary ground lead.





5. Positive/Negative Output

Light bulb is on with a long beep while PS100 is outputting positive/ negative electricity.




6. Testing Trailer Lights & Connections by OBD

PS100 supports to test trailer lights by OBD, which is cigarette lighter power supply mode.
