How to Update Autel VCI FIRMWARE

 

Step-by-step here: How to upgrade Autel MaxiVCI Mini VCI Firmware for Autel scan tools (MK808BT,MK808TS,MX808TX,MP808TS,TS608)

Note:
This procedure cuts across different makes of Autel scanners and applies to the MaxiVCI mini, MaxiVCI 100, and the wireless diagnostic interface (for the MK908 for example). It is essential in addition to routine Autel scanner updates, to have the vehicle connector interface aka wireless Bluetooth VCI, updated to the latest firmware to ensure optimal connectivity to vehicles. The MaxiVCI mini is used by tools like MaxiCHECK MX808TS, MaxiCOM MK808TS and MK808BT. Examples of Autel scanners that use the MaxiVCI 100 include the MaxiSYS MS906BT, MaxiSYS MS906TS etc. The MaxiCOM MK908 uses the wireless diagnostic interface aka Bluetooth diagnostic interface.


Important:

• 1.Ensure the device is well charged
• 2.Connectuion to VCI is firm
• 3.internet connection is stable

Procedure:
Step 1. Connect the VCI to the table via supplied USB


Into the USB port, these two green lights come on which means it works


USB connect indicators on the various models

Step 2. Connect the tablet to the internet via WIFI, then tab VCI Manager >> Update


During the update process:

• Do not leave this page during upgrade
• Do not disconnect the VCI

Current version is V2.03, reboot your VCI to completed update


Step3. Disconnect and then reconnect the USB to reboot the VCI


Update completed!

Autel MaxiPRO MP808TS to add new key for Toyota Corolla Matrix 2008

 Car model and year: Toyota Corolla Matrix 2008
Purpose: Adds a Blade Key via OBD
The tool used:  Autel MaxiPRO MP808TS
Procedure:

Here are 2 keys: a master key & a new key.

 

Connect Autel MP808TS with OBD, press

Service >> Immo keys >> Toyota >> Automatic selection >> Read >> OK >> Yes

 

 

Hot functions >> Auto remote match >> Key registration

 

Use this function to register a new transponder code, press “OK”.

 

This function serves to register immobilizer keys, press “Next”.

 

Step1

Perform the operation below:

1. Remove the key from the key cylinder.
2. Insert the key back into the key cylinder.
3. Turn the ignition on.

Press “Next”.

 

Step2

Remove the master key from the key cylinder within 20s, press “Next”.

 

Step3

Insert the new key to be programmed within 10s, press “Next”.

Attention: do NOT turn the ignition on.

 

Wait for registering...

  

 

Key registration is completed.

This key should start the vehicle now.

Press “ESC” to finish.

 

Let’s try the new key now, it can start the engine.

Delete transport mode by Autel Maxisys Elite Step-by-step

 Car model and year: BMW X6 E71 2012
Purpose: To delete transport mode via OBD
The tool used:  Autel MaxiSys Elite
Procedure
Connect Autel Elite scanner with BMW OBD, press
Diagnostics >> VIN >> Auto detect >> OK >> Yes







Wait reading control unit information until 100%...

Service >> Maintenance and Pre-Delivery check >> Transport mode, Pre-Delivery check >> Delete transport mode >> Condition based service pre-delivery check






Delete transport mode and then carry out the pre-delivery check?
Attention:
If installed, the battery master switch should be removed from the vehicle before deactivating transport mode!
Press “Yes”.

Transport mode of all control units was deleted.
The transport mode of the air suspension was deleted.

Service function completed.
Press “Continue” to finish.




Done!
